The French Embassy in Sudan said that the military build-up near Al-Obeid threatens approximately 500,000 civilians and warned that the city must not become “another Al-Fashir.”
The embassy also expressed deep concern over the escalating drone strikes targeting civilians in Kordofan, particularly the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) attacks on Al-Obeid.
