The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) has called for stronger coordination among regional and international partners to support peace efforts in Sudan, stressing that the solution must be Sudanese-led.
IGAD Executive Secretary Workneh Gebeyehu said during the Third Forum of Special Envoys and Representatives in Nairobi that the repercussions of the conflict in Sudan require greater coordination among relevant stakeholders to help achieve lasting peace and stability.
