The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has converted the Nyala University campus in the Mousiya suburb of South Darfur State into an advanced military training center for more than a year, according to local sources cited by Darfur24.
According to the sources, the facility has been used to graduate batches of fighters, train personnel in drone operations, communications, and command-and-control systems, as well as conduct courses for imams and preachers. The militia has also installed electronic jamming equipment inside the university.
The news outlet, citing university sources, reported that the campus has been subjected to widespread looting and vandalism, affecting lecture halls, administrative offices, the library, and laboratories.
