The Dar Hamar Emergency Room said the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has escalated its violations in the areas of Om Al-Badri and Abu Mareiga Hajar in Al-Nohod Locality, West Kordofan State.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, it said the violations included repeated abductions of civilians and their detention as hostages to demand hefty ransoms at gunpoint, as well as raids on homes and local markets and restrictions on residents’ movement. These actions have disrupted daily life and exacerbated the humanitarian suffering in the area.
