KHARTOUM (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese government has given Ethiopian diplomats at the Ethiopian Consulate in the eastern city of Al-Gadharef 48 hours to leave Sudanese territory, in response to the Ethiopian authorities’ decision to expel six Sudanese diplomats from Sudan’s consulate in the Ethiopian city of Assosa, amid escalating tensions between the two countries.
The Sudanese government has filed a complaint against Ethiopia with the United Nations Security Council and the African Union Peace and Security Council, accusing it of allowing the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia to use its territory to launch explosive-laden drones targeting civilian infrastructure in Sudan.
