Engineer Amin-Eddin Mukhtar Nourain, Chairman of the Union of Honorable Sudanese Abroad, announced the union’s readiness to contribute to the success of the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue during a visit to the headquarters of the Dialogue Climate Preparatory Committee in Khartoum.
Nourain said the union had accepted the invitation to participate in the dialogue, based on its conviction that addressing the Sudanese crisis requires Sudanese people to sit together and discuss their country’s issues from within. He affirmed the union’s readiness to provide all possible support to ensure the success of the process.
He explained that the union, which was established following the outbreak of the war, has worked to assist Sudanese people both inside and outside the country, expanding its activities to several European countries and other parts of the world.
Nourain also pointed to the union’s participation in UN events in Geneva, including sessions of the Human Rights Council, affirming that the union intends to maintain its presence in international forums while continuing to support the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue process.
