Baku (Nabaa Sudan) – Sudan is participating in the 2026 Governance Innovation Summit, hosted by the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, on November 5–6, with a delegation headed by Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed Al-Ageed, Director-General of the Digital Transformation Authority, representing Minister Ahmed Dardiri Ghandour, and accompanied by Sudan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anas Al-Tayeb Al-Jailani.
The head of the delegation is scheduled to deliver an address on public sector development, institutional reform, digital transformation, strategic planning and human capacity development.
The summit discusses the use of innovation and digital transformation to enhance public sector efficiency, develop government institutions and improve the quality of public services.
