Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, affirmed that the Sudanese people will not respond to any external blackmail or bow to any party, stressing that “the Sudanese voice of truth will remain loud, and the heads of its people will always be held high.”
On Saturday evening, Al-Burhan attended the “We Have Not Forgotten You” celebration performed by Sudanese rapper Monti Yago at Khartoum International Stadium, amid a massive and unprecedented public turnout that exceeded the attendance at the latest derby match, making it the largest gathering witnessed at the stadium since sporting activities resumed there.
In remarks that drew strong reactions from the audience, Al-Burhan thanked Sudan’s youth for their continued support for national causes and their commitment to standing with the truth. He also issued a strong political response to the recent diplomatic obstacles, saying: “We don’t want a visa, and we don’t want permission from anyone,” in an explicit rejection of any dictates or restrictions on Sudan’s sovereignty and international movements.
