The Government of Sudan mourned the Father Emir, Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, praising his career filled with dedication, his role in serving the State of Qatar, enhancing its renaissance, and consolidating its regional and international standing, alongside his support for the values of peace and cooperation on the international stage.
In a condolence statement, the government emphasized that the deceased contributed to strengthening the brotherly relations between Sudan and Qatar, extending its deepest condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the ruling family, the government, and the Qatari people.
It also described his passing as a great loss for the State of Qatar and the Arab and Islamic nations, due to his renowned wisdom and contributions to supporting dialogue, development, stability, and enhancing cooperation among peoples.
