Port Sudan, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudan Sea Ports Corporation (SPC) and a delegation from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport discussed ways to enhance cooperation in training, capacity building, and the development of port operations.
Director General of the Sudan Sea Ports Corporation, Engineer Jailani Mohamed Jailani, commended the Academy’s role in the success of the First International Conference on Sudanese Ports, affirming the importance of its recommendations in developing infrastructure and enhancing operational efficiency toward achieving smart ports.
Dean of the Academy’s Port Training Institute, Dr. Alaa-Eddin Mahmoud Morsi, expressed the Academy’s readiness to provide technical and advisory support to the Corporation and develop the capabilities of its human resources.
During its visit, the Academy delegation also discussed areas of operational cooperation and reviewed the training and capacity-building programs implemented by the Port Training Institute, affirming its support for their continuation and for developing the Corporation’s human-resource capabilities.
