Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – Spokesman for the Sudanese-Sudanese Dialogue Preparatory Committee, Engineer Othman Mirghani, announced the start of inviting all political forces without exception to hold consultative meetings in preparation for the Dialogue Conference.
Mirghani said that the committee would begin meeting with political forces in the coming period, starting with the Democratic Bloc next week, followed by a consultative meeting with other forces, with the aim of reaching the broadest possible consensus on issues related to preparing for the dialogue.
He noted that the outcomes of the consultations would be consolidated into a platform that would serve as a basis for the Dialogue Conference. He also revealed that the committee was in contact with regional and international forces and was expecting to hold a meeting this week with a group of European Union countries and the Sudan Issues Committee. He expected the committee to complete its work within a limited period and the Dialogue Conference to be held before the end of the year.
