President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, inspected the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s new headquarters in Khartoum, meeting with Minister Professor Ahmed Mudawi Musa and public university vice-chancellors.
Al-Burhan reviewed the ministry’s relocation from Port Sudan, checked staff conditions, and monitored academic and administrative progress as state institutions resume operations in the capital.
Professor Mudawi hailed the visit as a strong signal of stability and reconstruction, affirming that returning to Khartoum reassures both the public and domestic and international partners. Vice-chancellors described the visit as a beacon of hope, emphasizing the state’s determination to rebuild higher education and restore Khartoum as Sudan’s hub of learning and culture.
