Egypt’s State Information Authority, responding to a report published by Britain’s The Guardian newspaper on the situation of Sudanese in Egypt, said the report presented an unbalanced picture and overlooked essential facts.
The authority explained that Egypt has received millions of Sudanese nationals who are living normal lives in the areas of education, employment, and investment, including around one million people displaced by the recent war.
It considered that the report relied on individual accounts that do not reflect the reality of hosting Sudanese nationals in the country.
