Ambassador Wolfram Vetter, Head of the European Union (EU) Delegation to Sudan, said that the Rapid Support Forces' (RSF) policy of starving and besieging cities and strategic areas, as seen in Al-Gezira, Al-Fashir, Kadugli and Dilling, and as is currently occurring in Al-Rahad, Babanusa, Bara and Al Obeid, is unacceptable.
He said the European Union is closely monitoring the humanitarian and security situation in Sudan.
