Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism Khalid Al-Eisir emphasized that Sudan has successfully navigated exceptional challenges, crediting the nation’s resilience, the sacrifices of its citizens, and their steadfast commitment to national decision-making. He described the Consultative Forum for South Darfur Activities as a vital platform for dialogue on shaping the region’s future.

Speaking at the opening session of the forum held in Port Sudan under the patronage of Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Malik Agar, Al-Eisir said the current phase requires reinforcing stability and curbing regional and international interventions. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to implementing programs that support social peace and strengthen communication between the country’s various components.

The minister highlighted the role of national media in consolidating peace and coexistence, praising the organizers of the forum, as well as the participation of official institutions, media bodies, and traditional leadership.

He further stressed the importance of holding accountable all parties involved in harming Sudan, noting that the government will continue its legal and diplomatic efforts to restore the country’s rights. Al-Eisir affirmed that ongoing dialogue and coordination among the state, society, and media remain essential to Darfur’s stability and future.
