Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Customs Anti-Smuggling Forces freed 200 victims of human trafficking of various nationalities during an operation carried out in cooperation with the Military Police and with intelligence coordination from the General Intelligence Service, west of Omdurman.
The operation resulted in the seizure of three Kornet guns, three RPG rounds, a G3 rifle, and quantities of ammunition, in addition to 4,250 packs of cigarettes, four unregistered vehicles, 10 large packages of tobacco, and two Starlink devices.
Director General of Public Affairs at the Anti-Smuggling Directorate, Major General (Police) Omar Mohamed Ahmed Al-Ansari, said the operation followed field monitoring and surveillance, noting that legal procedures had been taken against those arrested and regarding the seized items, while the freed victims were handed over to the relevant authorities.
