The spokesperson for the Democratic Bloc, Mohamed Zakaria Farag Allah, stated that the communiqué attributed to the bloc denying the holding of meetings in Addis Ababa with the Quintuple Mechanism was not issued with the agreement of all members and does not reflect consensus within the bloc's structures.
He added that the official position of the bloc will be released later, following a meeting of the relevant bodies to deliberate and make a collective decision, emphasizing the bloc’s commitment to following established institutional procedures before announcing any official positions.
