Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki today received Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris at his residence during the latter’s official visit to Eritrea.

During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the state of bilateral relations and explored opportunities to strengthen, develop, and enhance cooperation in ways that serve the interests and welfare of their two brotherly peoples. They also discussed issues of mutual concern impacting the security and stability of the region.

The meeting highlighted the depth of bilateral relations and reaffirmed the commitment to expanding joint cooperation across various fields, as well as coordination in all regional and international forums and matters related to the Horn of Africa.
