Discussions were held in Benghazi between the head of the Anti-Illegal Migration Authority in eastern Libya, the Sudanese consul, and representatives of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) regarding arrangements to accelerate procedures for the deportation of detained Sudanese nationals.
The parties agreed to give priority to injured individuals, those subject to security restrictions, and those lacking identity documents, in preparation for the commencement of their return operations to Sudan.
