Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris on Sunday met with the Governor of Darfur Region Minni Arko Minnawi.
The meeting discussed developments and the current challenges facing the country, including the humanitarian situation across Sudan and particularly in the Darfur region, as well as international engagement on the matter. It also addressed the efforts being made by the state to achieve peace and stability.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthening coordination among state institutions at all levels in a spirit of cooperation and joint action to confront the country’s economic and security challenges.
