Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Ambassador Mohi-Eddin Salim, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdel-Aatty, in Cairo, where they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and coordinate on issues of mutual interest.
The talks also addressed the situation of the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo and the consulates in Aswan and Alexandria, as well as the challenges facing the delivery of services to Sudanese nationals.
The Egyptian side reaffirmed its full support for Sudan’s diplomatic missions and pledged to help address obstacles hindering their work, while the Sudanese foreign minister expressed his appreciation for the support.
Both sides agreed to maintain coordination between their foreign ministries to enhance bilateral cooperation and serve the interests of the two peoples.
