Vaccination campaigns for children have resumed in Dilling locality in South Kordofan State after an interruption lasting 35 months.
Relevant authorities said the suspension of the immunisation campaigns was due to the blockade imposed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North (SPLM-N) led by Abdelaziz al-Hilu.
The resumption marks a step toward restoring basic health services for children in the area after a prolonged halt in preventive healthcare activities.
