IOM Reports Displacement of 1,770 People from Villages in Blue Nile ‎State

Blue Nile, (Nabaa Sudan) – The International Organization for ‎Migration (IOM) reported that 354 families, comprising 1,770 people, ‎were displaced from villages in Wad Al-Mahi locality in Blue Nile State ‎due to deteriorating security conditions.‎

In a statement, the organization said the displaced people headed to ‎Al-Roseires locality in the state, noting that the affected villages ‎include Amiri, Jabal Nimr, Abu Qadaf, Bashkarkat, Ab Jankour, Makla, ‎Menakita, Jabal Al-Nao, Mizna, and Minshiling.‎
