Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Khalid Ali Al‑Eisir today received the first foreign media delegation of the year, a group of Turkish journalists visiting Sudan to report on the country’s situation for regional and international audiences.

The delegation, representing TRT News, TRT World, TRT Arabic, Anadolu Agency, and CNN Turk, will spend two weeks touring key sites across Sudan.

During the meeting, Minister Al‑Eisir discussed the causes of Sudan’s conflict, ongoing peace efforts, and initiatives aimed at national unification and reconstruction.

The journalists’ programme includes visits to internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Al‑Dabbah, the capital Khartoum, and Al‑Gezira state. Noura Ezz El‑Din of TRT Arabic stressed the importance of accurately conveying Sudan’s story and ensuring the international community remains accountable.
