Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that its forces are prepared to carry out intensive strikes on energy facilities in Ukraine in response to what it described as continued Ukrainian attacks on civilian infrastructure and Russia’s oil and energy sectors.
The announcement came as the two countries exchanged long-range attacks. Moscow said it had targeted drone and ammunition production facilities in Kyiv, while Ukraine launched a drone attack on an oil refinery in northwestern Russia, triggering a fire.
