The Sudanese Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has affirmed its commitment to protecting the reputation of Sudanese higher education institutions, ensuring the authenticity of university degrees, and preventing forgery.

In a statement Wednesday, the ministry clarified that verification procedures take no more than 72 hours and emphasized that it is the sole authority officially authorized to verify degrees for government and sovereign bodies, including Sudanese diplomatic missions, consulates, and cultural attachés in countries such as China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, India, as well as Sudan’s missions to the United Nations.

The ministry stressed its ongoing efforts to streamline procedures, ensuring speed and accuracy while safeguarding the credibility of Sudanese higher education.
