Sudanese Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Saif Al-Nasr Al-Tijani, affirmed that Egypt represents a strategic partner and a crucial support for Sudan during this sensitive period.

During his meeting with Egyptian Ambassador Hani Salah, the minister discussed joint efforts for reconstruction and the railway connection between Aswan and Abu Hamad, as part of a project funded by a Kuwaiti grant.

Meanwhile, Director of Sudanese Sea Ports Corporation, Gailani Mohamed, highlighted the existence of joint technical studies for the involvement of Egyptian companies in development and operational projects, contributing to the enhancement of maritime and river trade and transport, according to the ministry’s media office.
