El-Obeid (Nabaa Sudan) – UNICEF Country Representative in Sudan, Angelina Kerney, conducted a field visit to assess the extent of the damage sustained by the organisation’s schoolbook and nutrition warehouses in the city of El-Obeid following a drone strike carried out by the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.
The UN delegation expressed its readiness to support the printing of textbooks and provide the necessary supplies to help ensure the stability and continuity of the educational process in the state.
