Khartoum (Nabaa Sudan) – The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Carter Center discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in youth empowerment, peacebuilding, community stability, combating hate speech, and promoting social cohesion.
The meeting, which brought together Minister of Youth and Sports Ahmed Adam Ahmed and the Center’s Regional Director for Sudan, Sarah Laviniane, addressed areas including mental health and youth empowerment, as well as the Center’s efforts to combat neglected tropical diseases.
Both sides agreed to continue coordination and prepare for workshops in January, February, and March to identify cooperation priorities and develop initiatives to enhance young people’s capacities.
