Sudan’s Acting Chargé d’Affaires in Damascus, Minister Plenipotentiary Khalid Mohamed Ali, met with Syrian Minister of Interior Eng. Anas Khattab to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Khalid Mohamed Ali briefed the Syrian minister on the political and field developments in Sudan, the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue initiative, and the government’s efforts on the humanitarian front.

The meeting also addressed the situation of the Sudanese community in Syria and the Syrian community in Sudan, as well as ways to address the challenges facing both communities.
