The European Union (EU) has launched a dialogue with representatives of Sudan's private sector during a meeting hosted in Cairo to discuss the private sector's role in reconstruction, development, and state-building in the post-war period.
Yassin Hisham Nadkan, Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation and Chargé d'Affaires, said the EU is keen to hear the views of Sudan's business community regarding its role in the next phase. He stressed that peace and a civilian transition are essential foundations for strengthening relations with Sudan, restoring investment, and advancing development efforts.
