Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – Director General of the General ‎Directorate of Quarries and Meat Health at the Ministry of Animal ‎Resources and Fisheries Hussein Mohammed Al-Bashir announced the ‎start of meat exports to the State of Kuwait, paving the way for ‎expansion into Arab Gulf markets.‎

Al-Bashir said that seven abattoirs are ready for export in accordance ‎with approved health requirements, noting the ministry’s commitment ‎to international requirements governing meat exports.‎

Undersecretary of the Ministry Dr. Ammar Al-Sheikh Idris affirmed that ‎the strategic plan focuses on expanding meat exports and upgrading ‎slaughterhouses in accordance with international standards to ensure ‎the safety and quality of meat.‎
