State Minister of Finance Mohamed Nour Al-Da’im announced a joint initiative with the Ministry of Digital Transformation to digitize government services and enhance public spending efficiency.
The project’s first phase connects Sudanese missions abroad, piloting the Consulate in Jeddah and the Embassy in Cairo. It aims to streamline financial and administrative processes, reduce reliance on cash, and provide real-time reporting for decision-makers.
Al-Da’im said the initiative supports broader fiscal reform, including unified electronic payments, cost reduction, accurate revenue tracking, and improved transparency. Technical committees will evaluate the pilot phase and finalize training before expanding the system to all Sudanese missions worldwide.
