Minister of Minerals Noor Al-Daem Taha on Saturday held talks at the Royal Palace with His Royal Highness Prince Nayif bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, focusing on investment opportunities in Sudan, particularly in the mining sector and its significant economic potential.

Prince Nayif expressed strong interest in investing across several sectors in Sudan, stressing the importance of strengthening economic partnerships and expanding high-quality investments that support economic growth and sustainable development.

For his part, Minister Taha said Sudan offers promising and viable investment opportunities in mining, underpinned by recent reforms, supportive legislation, and a diverse and abundant mineral resource base. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to providing a secure and enabling environment for regional and international investors.

The minister added that the meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen economic and investment cooperation between Sudan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a way that serves mutual interests and advances development in both countries.
