The International Organization for Migration (IOM) reported that the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Blue Nile State reached 28,020 between January 11 and April 2, 2026.
The organization noted an 18% increase in just ten days, up from 23,735 on March 25, highlighting an accelerating displacement trend across the state.
