Blue Nile, (Nabaa Sudan) – Commissioner-General of the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) Salwa Adam Biniya inspected on Friday the conditions of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Ghessan Locality to Wad Al-Mahi Locality in the Blue Nile Region during a field visit that included the City 6 shelter center and the Abu Shindi area, to assess urgent needs and the challenges facing displaced families.

The Commissioner-General listened to accounts from the families about their shelter and living conditions and basic needs, stressing the need for coordination between the native administration and the locality government to bring displaced families together and provide the necessary humanitarian services.

She witnessed the launch of humanitarian interventions provided by the British organization Human Appeal, in addition to reviewing interventions by the World Food Programme (WFP) and Global Relief Organization. She stressed the importance of continued coordination between the Humanitarian Aid Commission, local authorities, and humanitarian organizations to ensure that assistance reaches those in need.
