Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Dr. Salma Abdel Jabbar, expressed Sudan’s appreciation for the supportive stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the inauguration of a project to establish five oxygen stations funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSRelief) for several hospitals across three states. She emphasized that this support reflects the longstanding historical ties between the two countries.
Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim, affirmed that Saudi support for the health sector has exceeded $33 million and noted that the King Salman Center was among the first responders since the beginning of the crisis, with plans underway to rehabilitate 50 hospitals across multiple states.
Meanwhile, Saudi Ambassador Ali bin Hassan Jaafar stressed the Kingdom’s continued support for Sudan in the fields of health, water, and energy until full recovery and stability are achieved.
