The United Nations has estimated that 219,319 people were displaced from the Kordofan Region between October 25, 2025, and June 23, 2026, with the majority fleeing to Khartoum State, which received 75,005 displaced persons (IDPs), followed by White Nile State, which hosted 39,442 displaced persons.

The United Nations stated that the Kordofan Region has witnessed a marked escalation in displacement since late February 2026 amid the continuing deterioration of the security and humanitarian situation across the region.
