Blue Nile, (Nabaa Sudan) – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) expressed shock at reports that around 40 civilians, most of them women and children, were killed in a suspected drone strike targeting a displacement site in the Blue Nile Region.
The office said the area has been subjected to repeated attacks for weeks, forcing thousands of civilians to flee their homes and exposing large numbers of people to serious risks.
