According to Africa Intelligence, Rapid Support Forces (RSF) commander Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, widely known as Hemedti, is seeking to strengthen his ties and expand his channels of communication with Israel, amid ongoing efforts to bolster his regional and international relations.

The report highlights Hemedti’s continued interest in cultivating relations with Israeli circles as part of a broader strategy to secure political and diplomatic support and enhance his standing internationally.

Such contacts come against the backdrop of Sudan’s continuing political and military crisis, in which regional and international alliances have become an increasingly significant factor in shaping the country’s complex political landscape.
