Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – Sudanese authorities refused to grant an entry visa to Redwan Hussein, Director General of Ethiopia’s National Intelligence and Security Service, after he requested an urgent visit to Sudan, according to Al-Karama newspaper, citing senior diplomatic sources.
The sources told the newspaper that the visit request was not approved, without disclosing the reasons for the rejection or the nature of the mission the Ethiopian official intended to undertake during the visit.
The information circulating contained no official comment from Khartoum or Addis Ababa regarding the visit request or the decision to deny the visa.
