Cairo, (Nabaa Sudan) – A high-level Eritrean delegation comprising Hagos Gebrehiwet, Head of Economic Affairs, and Nasreddin Mohammed Saleh, Minister of Trade and Industry, held extensive talks in Cairo with Dr. Badr Abdel-Aatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad, and Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport.
During the meeting with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, the two sides reviewed progress in implementing previous agreements and discussed frameworks for future cooperation and complementary steps, in addition to exchanging views on a number of regional issues of mutual interest.
The talks with Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir addressed ways to boost trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, particularly in building materials and equipment, pharmaceuticals, agricultural products, and marine resources, as well as developing cooperation in the maritime transport sector.
