Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast support for Sudan’s unity and stability and the preservation of its legitimate national institutions, stressing that Sudan’s sovereignty and the unity and territorial integrity of the country are immutable principles that cannot be compromised.

During a meeting with U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director John Ratcliffe, El-Sisi highlighted Egypt’s active and constructive engagement in various international and regional frameworks addressing the Sudan crisis, with the aim of ending the war, alleviating humanitarian suffering, and supporting the political settlement process.
