Sudanese Teen Dies in Cairo Police Custody, Rights Group Calls for Investigation

The Egyptian Network for Human Rights reported the death of Sudanese youth Al-Nazir Al-Sadig (18) while in custody at Badr Police Station in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Thursday.
The network stated that, according to its information, the death resulted from what it described as harsh treatment and catastrophic detention conditions, after 25 days of his arrest. It emphasized the need for an urgent and transparent investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
