Military sources told Nabaa Sudan that the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) repelled an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the city of Al-Dalang in South Kordofan state.
The sources had earlier reported that the Armed Forces had been engaged in battles in Al-Dalang since morning to fend off the RSF assault, which targeted the city from both the western and northern axes.
