The Dar Hamar Emergency announced that the rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia has detained around 3,000 young men from the area, describing the situation as an existential catastrophe targeting Dar Hamar youth through the most brutal forms of ethnic cleansing and human trafficking.
The Emergency stated that the militia is blackmailing the families of the detained youths by demanding ransom payments or subjecting them to forced deportation to an unknown fate. It explained that some of the detainees are being held in Al-Mazroub in North Kordofan, while others are detained in Wad Banda in West Kordofan, noting that most were forcibly loaded onto trucks and transported to undisclosed locations.
According to testimonies from survivors, instructions were issued by an Emirati officer to separate the poor and those unable to pay ransom and transport them to Al-Daein to be pushed into combat fronts, in what was described as a mass liquidation operation and systematic forced recruitment carried out under foreign orders.
The Dar Hamar Emergency called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to act urgently to halt these violations and protect the youth, warning of the potential loss of thousands in camps and detention facilities.
