The Command of the Fourth Infantry Division in Al-Damazin has affirmed that its forces remain firmly in their positions and continue to carry out their military duties efficiently, stressing their readiness to deal with any field developments.

In a military statement, the command said it has been monitoring what it described as media campaigns aimed at misleading public opinion by circulating inaccurate information about developments on the ground, asserting that reports concerning the city of Al-Kormuk do not reflect the reality of the situation.

The command stated that the Fourth Infantry Division retains the operational initiative across all fronts and continues its mission of protecting the country and maintaining security and stability. It added that any announcements regarding the liberation or clearing of areas are issued exclusively through the official platforms of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Office of the Military Spokesperson.

The command reaffirmed its determination to continue carrying out its military duties until the completion of its operations.
