El-Obeid, (Nabaa Sudan) – The North Kordofan State Government said that drones belonging to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia bombed the city of El-Obeid, targeting a number of civilian sites and public facilities, including the Sports City and Sheikan University College.
The state government and its Security Committee condemned the attack, affirming that targeting civilian, educational, and sports facilities constitutes an assault on citizens and their property and a violation of international humanitarian law.
It affirmed that the shelling would not affect the resilience of citizens or the continuation of life and services in El-Obeid.
