Two Rapid Support Forces (RSF) elements were shot dead inside a restaurant at the livestock market north of Nyala amid a dispute with individuals over looted property, according to multiple sources who spoke to Darfur24. The sources said the two had been warned against going to the market alone before they were killed.

The sources said four armed men traveling in a pickup truck arrived at the restaurant and opened fire on the two before fleeing toward the new industrial area.

They added that armed men looted the victims after killing them, taking cash, mobile phones, weapons and ammunition.
