The Wali of West Darfur State, General Bahr El-Din Adam Karama, has announced the liberation of the town of Kulbus following fierce fighting involving the Sudanese Armed Forces, the Joint Force, and allied forces against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia.

Karama described the recapture of the town as a significant military achievement in the ongoing campaign in West Darfur State, affirming that military operations will continue until full control is restored over the entire state and the rest of Sudan.

He said Kulbus would serve as a strategic launching point for expanding military operations and supporting efforts to restore security and stability. He further stressed that the state remains firmly committed to reasserting its sovereignty, adding that the sacrifices of the nation's fallen heroes will continue to inspire the campaign until complete victory is achieved.
